The Ministry of Economic Development, Investment and Trade of the Samara Region took part in the VI International Forum of Technological Development «Technoprom 2018»
On August, 27 in Novosibirsk (http://www.nso.ru/ ) one of the largest events in the scientific and technological sphere - the VI International Forum of Technological Development «Technoprom 2018» (http://forumtechnoprom.com/) started its work. The purpose of the Forum is to promote technological leadership of the Russian economy on the basis of the development and accelerated introduction of science-intensive «intellectual» technologies in traditional industries and development of industry 4.0.
Within the framework of the Forum a round table «Clusters 2.0: International Management Practices» was held. Aleksey Ilmetov, Head of the Department of Investment Policy, the Ministry of Economic Development, Investment and Trade of the Samara Region, took part in its work. http://economy.samregion.ru/
Aleksey Ilmetov shared experience of the Samara Region in cluster formation in the basic and priority economic sectors and the implementation of the cluster policy with the participants of this discussion.
During the round table participants emphasized that one of the key aspects of the industrial development strategy until 2035 on the wave of the fourth industrial revolution is the transition from the implementation of sectoral approaches to supporting intersectoral clusters. The experience of cluster systems’ building shows that they give a significant impetus to regional development, as well as stimulate small and medium-sized businesses in the regions.
Within the framework of the round table the participants also discussed the international experience of the innovative clusters development and the possibility of implementation of these best practices in the regions of Russia. Experts pointed out that the introduction of international management practices will allow innovative clusters to continue successful strengthening of their positions in the developed sectors, as well as to enhance their positions and overcome internal barriers that interfere with rapid solutions and some new implementations.
