The Region’s transportation and logistics cluster emphasizes the Region’s favorable geographic location, expands the list of its competitive advantages and forms the gate of Russia, where through cargo and passengers are transported to Europe, Urals, Siberia, Far East, Central and Southeast Asia, Caspian. Samara transport nodal point is able to become oe of the cargo traffic center within the international transportation system.

The leading role in the cluster will be given to such organizations as Samara branch of R.ZH.D (Russian Railroad) OJSC, Kurumoch International Airport OJSC, Samara Airlines OJSC, Samara River Harbour OJSC, Togliatti Harbour OJSC, automobile transportation and logistics organizations.

Samara Region’s inclusion into system of international transportation lines will allow to actualize its transit potential. The Samara Transport Integration Center may become a step towards this. It will allow to gather cargo freight transporters, freight senders, logistics and transport companies and services.
